COMPANY BACKGROUND:

This position is a great opportunity to work with an expanding medical clinic. MO2R provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), a medical procedure designed to enhance the body’s healing process. THE POSITION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our admin team. On a day to day basis you will:

  • Provide general receptionist & office related services.
  • Greet and assist patients; answer and direct telephone calls, schedule patient appointments using Telus PS Suites EMR system.
  • Build and maintain patient files ensuring all required physician notes, exam results, reports are completed and stored; tracks data to ensure patient files are complete.
  • Work with the medical and technical team in tracking clinic metrics and producing reports.
  • Communicating with patients to prepare medical forms in advance to appointments.
  • Contacting physicians offices to collect information and schedule tests.
  • Maintaining Interact in a professional but friendly manner with patients.
  • Maintain the general upkeep of the office.
  • Work on ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Process billing and handle cash transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical Admin Certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • PS Suites EMR system experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; e-mail and Internet, voice messaging systems;
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Organizational and multitasking skills,
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
