Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our Medical Clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) using Oscar Software
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Handle phone systems efficiently, answering inquiries and directing calls as needed.
  • Collect patient information and verify insurance details prior to appointments.
  • Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office Assistant with Oscar software setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and standard office equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
