We are looking for someone with 3–5+ years of dental experience who understands the importance of meaningful treatment conversations, patient trust, and effective scheduling.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can connect with patients, present treatment plans with confidence, and coordinate care efficiently while supporting the overall success of the practice.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of dental experience, preferably in treatment coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting patient relationships.
  • Confidence discussing recommended treatment, associated fees, and financial arrangements.
  • A patient-first approach that focuses on education, trust, and meaningful care.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple treatment plans and priorities.
  • Strong scheduling skills, with an understanding of how to build productive schedules and coordinate appointments efficiently.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent follow-through.
  • A positive, professional attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and the administrative team.
  • Experience with ABELDent is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with patients by understanding their concerns, priorities, and treatment goals.
  • Present and explain recommended treatment plans clearly, helping patients understand the value and importance of their care.
  • Follow up with patients who have outstanding or unscheduled treatment and help them take the next steps.
  • Discuss treatment fees, payment options, and financing arrangements in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Coordinate treatment appointments and build efficient schedules that support patient needs and provider availability.
  • Work closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and the administrative team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor outstanding treatment plans and maintain accurate, organized patient records.
  • Identify scheduling opportunities, cancellations, and openings to help maximize available appointment time.
  • Communicate with patients regarding upcoming appointments, treatment sequencing, and follow-up care.
  • Support patient retention and continuity of care through consistent communication and thoughtful follow-through.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and help improve treatment coordination processes.

What Makes a Great Treatment Coordinator?

We are looking for someone who understands that successful treatment coordination goes beyond presenting a treatment plan. It is about building trust, listening to patients, educating them about their options, and helping them feel comfortable moving forward with recommended care.

The right candidate is empathetic without being hesitant, confident without being pushy, and organized enough to ensure that no patient falls through the cracks. They take pride in creating a smooth patient journey while helping the practice deliver high-quality care.

Why Join Ananthan & Associates?

  • A welcoming and supportive team environment.
  • The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients.
  • A collaborative approach to treatment planning and patient care.
  • A full-time position within an established dental practice.
  • An opportunity to contribute to patient satisfaction, treatment acceptance, and practice growth.
