Full job description

Dental Treatment Coordinator (Dentrix Required)

M City Dental — Dr. Mahmoud Manzoor & Associates

Mississauga, ON · Full-Time · On-Site

Position Overview

M City Dental is a high-volume dental practice where the front office functions as the operational heart of the clinic. The Dental Treatment Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients and holds full accountability for daily front-office operations.

This position is designed for an experienced dental front-office professional. Given the pace and complexity of the practice, we have defined clear prerequisites and encourage prospective candidates to review them before applying.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Applicants must meet both of the following to be considered:

  • Two to three years of dental experience in a front-office, reception, or patient-coordination capacity.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Dentrix, including scheduling, billing entry, and insurance verification/correspondence within a live practice environment.

Candidates who do not meet both criteria are unlikely to be a strong fit for the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an efficient appointment schedule through confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and prompt filling of cancellations.
  • Manage inbound lead inquiries across multiple platforms and convert them into booked and completed appointments.
  • Own patient follow-up end to end, including recalls, treatment-plan follow-ups, and post-visit outreach.
  • Administer scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and patient records within Dentrix.
  • Maintain and report on operational metrics, including call volume, conversion, recall rates, production, and no-shows.
  • Oversee front-office operations, including payments, insurance processing, and daily opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of dental experience in a front-office or patient-coordination role.
  • Proficiency in Dentrix (prior hands-on use required).
  • A demonstrated track record of converting lead inquiries across various platforms into booked appointment conversions.
  • Working knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.
  • Strong organizational discipline and full accountability for outcomes.
  • Composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Application Process

Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume along with a brief cover letter describing why they would be a great fit for a patient-facing front desk environment. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

M City Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
