Job Summary

As our Clinic and Operations Manager, you'll be a founding member of our operations team, responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic and helping shape how we hire, schedule, order, and manage the clinic long-term. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building processes, solving problems in real-time, and keeping a busy clinic running smoothly.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support for clinical and administrative staff
  • Build and manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinic functions
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and vendor coordination for medical and office supplies
  • Manage general clinic operations, including facilities, vendor relationships, and day-to-day troubleshooting
  • Support the development of clinic policies, procedures, and workflows as we build out operations
  • Assist with CPSA accreditation, business arrangement setup, and full clinic build-out in line with Alberta regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff and patients on operational matters
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership on process improvement and growth planning

Qualifications

  • Experience in a clinic management, medical office management, or healthcare operations role
  • Experience managing staff, and doctors (Required)
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment
  • Experience with hiring, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Experience running a clinic or business (Required)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, medical billing and insurance processes
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
  • Comfort working in a startup-like environment where processes are still being built

Bonus Qualifications

  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Experience with MedAccess
