Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient patient flow, maintaining compliance with dental regulations, and supporting the overall success of the practice. The Dental Office Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for patients and a productive workplace for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily office activities, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing processes
  • Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling
  • Oversee financial operations including budgeting, billing, collections, and insurance claims processing
  • Ensure compliance with dental regulations and maintain accurate records using electronic dental management software systems
  • Assist in implementing office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Support clinical staff by managing supply inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure excellent customer service
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with dental providers to optimize workflow and operational effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a dental office setting with supervisory responsibilities
  • Proficiency in AbelDent, OpenDental or similar Dental software
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental regulations, and billing procedures
  • Experience with human resources management, including staff supervision and training
  • Familiarity with budgeting, financial management, and insurance processing
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and vendors
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational excellence

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
