Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Experienced Front Desk Dental Administrator to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient front office experience. Your expertise in dental office operations, medical terminology, and administrative procedures will help streamline daily activities, enhance patient satisfaction, and support the overall success of our practice. Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages promptly
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic records using tracker.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently while managing appointment calendars to optimize patient flow
  • Collect payments, process billing, and handle financial transactions accurately at the front desk
  • Maintain organized patient records in electronic medical records systems ensuring confidentiality and compliance
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures, including updating personal information and explaining treatment plans
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations and seamless communication between team members

Skills

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or front desk administrator in a dental or medical office setting
  • Strong knowledge of dental office software such as Dentrix and Epic Electronic Medical Records systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care to facilitate accurate documentation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
  • Demonstrated administrative experience with proficiency in managing schedules, billing, and insurance processing
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of office procedures, including handling confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working with electronic medical records and familiarity with dental practice management software
