Practice Leader – Kitchener, ON

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Practice Leader to join an established and reputable dental practice in Kitchener. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead and support the team, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. You’ll also be responsible for driving practice performance, maintaining compliance, and creating a positive and engaging work environment for staff and patients alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a strong patient experience.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to foster engagement, professional development, and retention.
  • Partner with clinical leaders to align operations with patient care goals.
  • Monitor key business indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in business, office administration, healthcare, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience (dental or healthcare preferred).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and performance metrics.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance and patient safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours in alignment with practice needs.
