Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring efficient operations and excellent patient care.

Duties:

- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and securely
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the office staff

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Medaccess
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations
