Front Desk Receptionist- Physiotherapy clinic

Are you a friendly, organized, and professional individual looking to be the welcoming face of a healthcare team? Our busy and growing physiotherapy clinic is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide excellent service to our patients, assist with daily operations, and help maintain a clean and welcoming clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling.
  • Check-in and check-out patients, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, inventory, and correspondence.
  • Perform light cleaning duties to ensure the clinic is tidy and presentable (e.g., wiping down surfaces, organizing reception area, restocking supplies).
  • Ensure the reception area and treatment rooms remain neat and organized throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role (healthcare experience an asset).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinic management software (or willingness to learn).
  • Friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a professional clinic space.

Must be available to work some evenings. Preference given to someone flexible to cover the odd Saturday and/or Sunday (excluding holiday weekends and holidays). Our clinic is open 7 days a week - Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturdays 8am - 2pm and Sundays 8am - 1pm.

Competitive wage based on experience.
