Full job description

Our patients inspire us every day! It could be learning to walk again, returning to work after an injury, or gaining independence through limb support or replacement. At Certified Prosthetics & Orthopedics, we design and fit custom prosthetics and orthotics for people across the Kamloops region — and the experience they have with our clinic matters as much as the devices we build.

We’re looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to be the heart of our front office: the friendly voice on the phone, the organized hand behind every appointment, and a steady, compassionate presence for patients who are often navigating a difficult season of their lives.

What you’ll do:

Welcome patients by phone and in person; schedule and coordinate appointments

Prepare documents such as forms and invoices for signature

Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts and records

Keep the office running smoothly — filing, data entry, supplies, and general administration

Work closely with our clinicians to make every patient visit seamless

What we’re looking for:

Warm, professional communication — you genuinely enjoy helping people

Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with patient records

Comfort with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

Discretion and care with confidential information

High school diploma required; office administration training or medical office experience are assets, not requirements — we’ll train the right person

What we offer:

Consistent weekday daytime hours, no evenings or weekends

A small, close-knit team where you will know every patient by name

Work that visibly matters to the people you serve

How to apply:

Please apply one of two ways, or both.

Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief note telling us about a time you helped someone through a stressful situation.

Introduce yourself in person! You’re welcome to drop your resume off at our clinic, 9–1315 Summit Drive, we would love to meet you.

We’ll reach out to candidates selected for an interview. Thank you for your interest in joining our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • On-site parking

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Office Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
