Who Are You?

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Welder applies their experience and passion for precision manufacturing to take projects from blueprint to reality.

What you will do:

  • Read and interpret blue prints or welding process specifications
  • Follow directions given in layouts, drawings and work orders
  • Welding of various heavy equipment attachments and components utilizing MCAW and FCAW
  • Ensure product quality
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment at all times
  • Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the cost, quality and schedule expectations of all customers.
  • Active participation in WBM Safety Program, ensuring that workplace safety exists at all times
  • Other duties as required

Sound Familiar?

  • 3+ years experience in Fabrication or Welding
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems
  • Be proficient in the use of all tools common to the fabrication shop environment
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
  • Analytical skills to identify problems and find a solution, or seek advice from the supervisor
  • Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 kg.
  • Excellent safety record
