Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Navigator to provide expert guidance, support and consultation in various disability management, insurance and/or legal file settings. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiastic approach to continuous learning as well as strong leadership, organizational and communication skills. Excellent opportunity for potential progression to senior management roles.

Requirements

  • Clinical background in a related profession, or equivalent educational background.
  • Examples include: Occupational Therapy (OT), Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Occupational Health Nurse (OHN), Physician Assistant (PA), Kinesiology, Social Work or Registered Psychotherapist.
  • Advanced degree holders (MSc/PhD, MD, IMG's) are encouraged to apply
  • Appplicants from non-clinical backgrounds with applicable education/training are will also be considered for this role.
  • 2-5 years of clinical experience within areas such as emergency care, trauma, geriatrics, medical/surgical specialties, addictions management, brain injury/trauma rehabilitation, mental health/psychiatry or chronic pain management is preferred.
  • Experience in disability management, occupational health/medicine, insurance (auto, life and health etc.) or legal environments is an asset.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex situations as needed.
  • Extremely detail oriented with ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency (intermediate to advanced) utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
