Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a permanent full-time Clinical Research Manager with extensive clinical trial management experience. We are team-oriented and believe in continued learning and professional development of all our staff. If you are highly motivated, committed to continuing professional development, work well in a team environment, have excellent communication, leadership, organizational, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you!

Duties

  • Lead clinical trial start-up work
  • Contract preparation in collaboration with our legal partners
  • Budget preparation and negotiation
  • Creating, improving and monitoring site source documentation
  • Ethics and other regulatory submissions to Health Canada
  • Experience with site audits
  • Routine invoicing based on the approved budget
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing all study-related activities such as initiating timely start-up, navigating strict eligibility criteria, and ensuring clean data is entered accurately and inline with monitoring requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in sciences field, preferably biomedical science, biology, biochemistry, health systems management, statistics
  • Minimum 2-3 years of clinical research experience required.
  • Recent experience conducting clinical trials.
  • Documented experience with regulatory and ethics submissions.
  • Knowledge and ability to do budgeting and invoicing for studies that are ongoing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.50-$39.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
