Full job description

Company: Theraprime Rehab Management
Locations: GTA, Ontario
Position Type: Flexible / Independent Contractor Opportunities

Join Theraprime’s Growing Occupational Therapy Assessment Team

Theraprime is expanding, and we are looking for Occupational Therapists interested in completing assessments within the medical rehabilitation and motor vehicle accident sector.

We offer something many independent OTs do not have: a consistent volume of client referrals, strong clinical mentorship, and dedicated administrative support.

Whether you are an experienced OT assessor or a clinician interested in developing your assessment skills, Theraprime provides the infrastructure, training, and senior clinical support to help you build and grow your assessment practice.

What Theraprime Offers

· Consistent volume of client referrals

· Flexible caseload based on your availability and preferred geographic area

· Mentorship and clinical support from a Senior Occupational Therapist

· Training and support for OTs developing their assessment expertise

· Administrative support with scheduling, client coordination, documentation, and file management

· Access to an established multidisciplinary rehabilitation team

· Opportunity to develop expertise within the medical-legal and automobile insurance sector

· Ability to focus on clinical assessment and report preparation while our administrative team supports the coordination of the file

The Role

Occupational Therapists will conduct home, community, and functional assessments for clients who have sustained injuries following motor vehicle accidents and other traumatic events.

Depending on your experience and interests, assessment opportunities may include:

· In-home and community-based functional assessments (CAT)

· Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments (CAT)

· Attendant Care Needs Assessments

· Functional and safety assessments

· Home accessibility and equipment assessments

· Community reintegration assessments

· Hospital Discharge planning assessments

· Collaboration with physicians, psychologists, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary team

Who We Are Looking For

OTs who are clinically strong, skill in evidence-based practice, organized, self-driven and interested in conducting independent assessment work.

We are also open to OTs who have strong rehabilitation experience and are interested in transitioning into conducting assessments only. Mentorship, training and ongoing clinical support will be available through a Senior Occupational Therapist.

Why Theraprime?

We understand that independent clinicians often spend significant time trying to build referral sources, coordinate appointments, manage administrative workload, and navigate complex files.

At Theraprime, we provide the referrals and infrastructure so you can focus on being an Occupational Therapist.

You will have access to a steady volume of assessment opportunities, experienced clinical mentorship, administrative support, and a team that will help you throughout the assessment and reporting process.

If you are an Occupational Therapist looking to expand your assessment practice or develop expertise in the medical-legal rehabilitation field, we would like to meet you.

Apply today to join Theraprime’s Occupational Therapy Assessment Team.
