About Nexx MD

Established in 2018 in North Vancouver, Nexx MD is a physician-directed medical aesthetics and wellness clinic focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatments in a modern and personalized environment.

We are expanding with our new flagship location in Coal Harbour, Downtown Vancouver, while continuing to serve our established North Vancouver location.

We are looking for an experienced, polished, and client-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Medical Aesthetician will provide advanced facial and skin treatments while creating a welcoming, luxurious, and professional experience for every client.

This position will involve a mixture of shifts between our North Vancouver clinic and our new Coal Harbour, Downtown Vancouver location. Candidates must be comfortable and available to work at both locations based on operational needs and scheduling.

The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, aesthetics, client service, and sales, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced premium medical clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional medical aesthetic and skincare treatments
  • Provide customized skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans
  • Perform treatments such as:
  • Medical-grade facials
  • Microneedling
  • Chemical peels
  • Hydration and rejuvenation treatments
  • Skin resurfacing treatments
  • Laser and light-based treatments where appropriately trained
  • Body and facial aesthetic treatments
  • Educate clients regarding skincare, treatment options, aftercare, and maintenance programs
  • Recommend and sell appropriate medical-grade skincare products and treatment packages
  • Assist in developing long-term treatment plans and memberships for clients
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and treatment records
  • Take professional before-and-after photographs when required
  • Maintain treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and infection control
  • Assist with client check-in, booking, follow-up, and front-desk responsibilities when required
  • Provide a premium, spa-like experience and exceptional attention to detail
  • Participate in clinic promotions, events, social media content, and treatment demonstrations when required
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse injectors, nurse practitioners, aestheticians, and administrative staff
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Nexx MD services, promotions, packages, and skincare products
  • Work scheduled shifts at both the North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver locations

Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Medical Aesthetics, Advanced Esthetics, or a related field
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Aesthetician
  • Experience with medical-grade skincare and aesthetic devices is strongly preferred
  • Experience with microneedling, facials, chemical peels, laser, IPL, RF, or similar technologies is an asset
  • Strong understanding of skin types, skin conditions, skincare ingredients, and treatment protocols
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Professional, polished, and well-presented
  • Strong sales and consultation skills
  • Comfortable recommending products, packages, memberships, and additional treatments based on client needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary medical aesthetics team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client care
  • Must be able to reliably commute to both North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver
  • Availability for some evenings and weekends

You should be someone who enjoys creating a luxury, personalized client experience, remembers client preferences, builds relationships, confidently recommends appropriate treatments and products, and takes pride in providing outstanding service.

Experience in a high-end medical spa, cosmetic clinic, luxury spa, dermatology clinic, or plastic surgery environment is considered a strong asset.
