Medical Laboratory Technician jobs in Winfield, BC

The position will primarily involve compliance testing of wireless electronic devices for RF Exposure measurement through SAR testing (specific absorption rate) speciality equipment.

The preferred candidate has an appropriate technical background with comprehensive knowledge and experience in the following:

• Graduate of a recognized engineering or electronics technology program, technical certificate or equivalent education or experience.
• Must be familiar with a wide variety of test instruments and have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Must have excellent organization skills, be self-motivated, and have advanced problem solving skills and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong report writing and computer skills
• Desire a quick learner with a “can do” attitude

Principal Responsibilities/Duties:

• Receive & prepare devices for testing
• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures
• Prepare Certification reports and related documents
