Job Duties
  • Select, design, update and construct educational courses and lab aids/materials.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes.
  • Supervise students in classroom, labs, etc. May involve travel.
  • Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations and to record student progress.
  • Counsel students and prospective students on matters pertaining to the program and job opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Description

Required Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Saskatchewan is required
  • Current registration with CMLPSK is required
  • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty teaching Chemistry/Urinalysis in the MLT program
  • Instructor must reside in Saskatchewan for the duration of the contract
  • Effective computer skills required
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity
