What You'll Do:
- Ensure the timely and orderly flow of sample analysis in the laboratory
- Perform upkeep of laboratory instruments and equipment
- Regularly participate in the Laboratory QA/QC program
- Analyze samples following developed procedures
- Enter, review, and communicate analysis results to our internal customers
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work days and nights, rotation shift required.
- Chemical Technology Diploma or Chemistry Degree (4 years) required
- 1-2 years of Laboratory Technician experience will be a strong asset.
- Passion and commitment for Safety
- Demonstrated history of upholding "Respect in the Workplace" values
- Problem solving and time organization abilities
- Excellent data entry skills with working knowledge of Excel and SAP
- Experience to operate and calibrate analytical instrumentation (XRF, AA, pH meter, balances, etc.)
- Ability to work shift work with minimal supervision
- Ability to safely lift and handle samples up to 50lbs
