We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst for an 18-months contract at our Thompson location. In a supervised lab setting, you will:

  • Receive, log and sort environmental samples
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory analyses
  • Maintain accurate records (logbooks) and report/enter data
  • Understand and comply with Testmark's Quality Management System
  • Maintain work area and equipment in proper condition

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good record keeping skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be competent, dependable and able to absorb and apply training
  • Basic computer literacy
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good troubleshooting skills required for instruments and methods
  • Experience working in an ISO laboratory considered an asset
