Materials Testing Technician – Kelowna, BC

We're currently looking for a Materials Testing (Laboratory) Technician to join our team based in Kelowna.

Key Objectives for This Role:

  • Perform in-lab soil, concrete and asphalt testing following standard procedures.
  • Prepare accurate and concise reports using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Work closely with the company’s engineering staff, management team, clients, and contractors
  • Work flexible hours as required
  • Lift and carry equipment and samples weighing around 45-50 lbs as part of routine work

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or another degree in a science-related field
  • CCIL Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate Certification is preferred (but not required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • A professional and proactive attitude when working with colleagues, clients, and contractors

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
