This role supports high-quality diagnostic laboratory services across FMC and the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, you will gain experience in inpatient and outpatient collections, specimen processing, quality management, troubleshooting, and laboratory support. Responsibilities include collecting and processing specimens, entering patient information into the Laboratory Information System, ensuring accurate patient and specimen identification, maintaining specimen integrity, and handling biological materials according to established safety guidelines. Reporting to the Supervisor or Manager, you will also operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
