Job Description:

A community–based laboratory located in GTA looking for CSMLS/MLPAO certified Medical Laboratory Technician, for specimen collection Centre. This position is available for full time or part time (30-35 hours) or Saturdays at our specimen collection center.

- Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent skills in performing venipuncture and ECG is must. CSMLS/MLPAO - MLA/T certification in good standing, `Hands-on’ leadership with a passion for quality patient care.
  • Excellent skills managing day-to-day specimen processing (Pre-Analytical) in accordance with the accepted laboratory standards, and the established policies & procedure.
  • Competent in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge & Skills: LIS operation with excellent data entry speed. General computer skills (Word, EXCEL etc.)
  • Excellent professional communication skills (written & verbal) for customer services, client relationships, documentation and new process developments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire professional team work, to work and interact with all levels of staff for positive outcomes.
  • Valid driver’s license and a car will be an asset.
