The Mission of Nipigon District Memorial Hospital

MEDICAL LAB ASSISTANT
POSTING NUMBER: 2026-46 CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

WORK STATUS: Casual BARGAINING UNIT: UNIFOR - PARAMEDICAL

POSTING DATE: October 8, 2026 RATE OF PAY: $30.120-$34.689

START DATE: ASAP

are required to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and commitment to this philosophy of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a Medical Lab Assistant post-secondary program
Current/eligible member of CSMLS is preferred
Medical Lab Assistant experience is an asset
Proficient with computer applications
Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
An excellent attendance record is imperative
