Company Overview

Dr. C Ross Crapo and Associates provide general dentistry to families in the beautiful commmunity of Victoria. In addition, they provide specialized implant and reconstruction procedures for patients requiring complex treatment.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Dental Lab Assistant/Technician to join our team working along side our talanted Licenced Dental Assistant of 20 plus years in our busy in-house lab. This role involves the creation of dental provisionals, whitening trays, fluoride trays, custom trays, mounting diagnostic models, tracking lab cases, ordering dental supplies as well as other duties that assist and compliment our back end team. The ideal candidate will possess laboratory experience or dental assistant experience, familiarity with dental terminology, and a strong commitment to patient care excellence. Additional lab training will be provided as required for our new team member.

Duties

  • Assist in fabricating dental provisional restorations such as crowns, bridges & All on X Implants provisionals.
  • Prepare and process dental impressions & models with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness, calibration, and proper functioning at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with dental office staff to interpret case requirements and ensure timely production of restorations.
  • Follow established protocols for sterilization, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Keep detailed records of work progress and case documentation for compliance and tracking purposes.
  • Assist in the tracking/ordering of dental supplies and supplies for the lab.

Requirements

  • Proven dental laboratory experience and/or dental assistant experience.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and materials commonly used in prosthetic fabrication.
  • Prior experience working in a dental office environment or assisting with dental procedures is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of terminology related to oral health and restorative dentistry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
