Job Description

DEXA Health Inc. is a wellness-focused clinic offering advanced body composition analysis using DEXA scan technology. Our mission is to help clients better understand their body fat, lean mass, bone content, and health metrics in a professional, modern setting.

We are opening up a brand new Burnaby clinic (minutes from Gilmore station) and we are looking for a part-time DEXA/VO2 Test Technician to join our team. You’ll receive full training and play a key role in creating a welcoming, health-focused experience for our clients.

As the clinic grows, there may be opportunities to expand this role into a full-time position.

Qualifications
Strong interest in fitness, health, or wellness

Comfortable working independently and interacting with clients

Customer service experience is an asset

Experience with medical devices or in a clinical setting is an asset

Degree or coursework in kinesiology or a health science field is an asset

Tech-savvy and organized

Must be based in Burnaby or able to commute to the Brentwood area regularly

(Relocation is not available for this role) (Commutable Skytrain)

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a GE Lunar DEXA scanner to conduct non-diagnostic body composition scans
  • Guide clients through the scanning process and ensure comfort and safety
  • Review scan results with clients using clear, accessible language (training provided)
  • Conduct a VO2 Max test
  • Conduct an RMR test
  • Maintain a clean, professional clinic space
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as intake and scheduling

*Parking at the clinic is not available for staff

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
