Job Description:

HealthPRO Canada is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated pharmacy technician to fill the role of Specialist, Pharmacy Member Success. The Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by attending to the day-to-day needs of HealthPRO Canada Members, including resolving contract pricing discrepancies, generating commitment reports, providing training on the HealthPRO Insights+ Member Portal and building and maintaining relationships. The Specialist also supports existing business, expands Member participation, and provides analytical and process support to the corresponding provincial Clinical Director, Pharmacy Member Success.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with hospital pharmacy technicians/buyers and operations managers/supervisors by sharing knowledge related to operations and helping to resolve contract pricing issues.
• Develop expertise in the Member organizations including, but not limited to, understanding Member commitment process and contracts, supply chain requirements, clinical practices, and market trends.
• Work with Members to manage issues related to contract interpretation, terms and conditions or compliance.
• Manage member requests including but not limited to product additions, pricing updates, supply disruptions, product recalls, and distribution changes.
• Assist members by providing reports and analytics as requested by the Clinical Director, Pharmacy Member Success.
• Generate commitment reports to assist Pharmacy Member Success Clinical Directors in preparation for Member meetings.
• Escalate contract concerns where applicable and work with internal teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
• Seek out new opportunities to expand contract participation within the membership.
• Support member meetings and assigned Committee meetings, including setting up meetings, documenting minutes and preparing and circulating agenda packages upon approval of the Pharmacy Member Success Clinical Director, Director, Member Success and Pharmacy Operations, and Senior Clinical Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work safely and report any unsafe conditions as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Provides training to new hospital pharmacy staff on the use of theInsights+ Member Portal and various services and programs offered by HealthPRO Canada.
• Deliver long term value to Members by providing a consistent, responsive, and satisfying Member experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a hospital pharmacy technician/buyer or supervisor.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience and College registration.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology.
• Excellent knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience and exceptional skills in supporting customer needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including gathering and presenting financial information.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines with high attention to detail, taking ownership for accuracy of all documentation.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed and complex organizational processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
