Full job description

CJ College is actively seeking a Mental Health and Addictions Instructor to join our team!

The MHAA Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of CJ College while contributing to a positive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, and dedication while embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students through lectures
  • Deliver lesson plans and assignments using a variety of teaching techniques
  • Administer and grade quizzes, exams, and assignments
  • Perform administrative tasks including student record keeping, attendances, marking, etc
  • Must be able to manage their class with full attendance
  • Adhere to principles, requirements and delivery of the program as per CJ College standards and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mental Health or Social Work
  • A minimum of two (2) years of teaching in the field or four (4) years experience working in the field
  • Required criteria as outlines in the Regulations to Ontario Career Colleges Act 2005

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M3J 3K2
