Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy student with an injection certificate to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this paid role, you will support pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation, patient care, and administrative tasks. Your enthusiasm for pharmacy practice, combined with your injection certification, will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring safe medication administration. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Support patient care activities, including providing medication information and answering basic inquiries
- Administer injections to patients under supervision, following strict safety protocols and medical guidelines
- Maintain detailed records of medication administration and patient interactions
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment
- Follow all pharmacy protocols related to medication safety, hygiene, and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of pharmaceutical services
Skills
- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student with an active injection certificate
- Prior pharmacy experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards

This paid position is mainly for flu/covid season, however it may lead to a long term position.
