Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MRI Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise in operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment will help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients. This position offers an engaging environment that emphasizes precision, patient care, and teamwork. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients, operating advanced imaging technology, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed to produce clear and reliable images. Your dedication will directly impact patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of our radiology department.

Duties

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the scan.
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images of internal body structures for diagnostic purposes.
  • Follow strict safety guidelines to prevent exposure to magnetic fields and ensure patient and staff safety during procedures.
  • Review imaging results for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal images.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging data in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret images and assist in diagnosis when needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of MRI machines to ensure peak performance and safety standards are met.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an MRI Technologist or similar role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and diagnostic imaging.
  • Familiarity with MRI safety protocols, including screening patients for contraindications such as metal implants or pacemakers.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care.
  • Ability to operate complex MRI equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Certification or licensure as required by state or national regulatory bodies for MRI Technologists is preferred.
