Job Overview

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Obstetric & Gynecologic Ultrasound

Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Join Our Team

Aworan OBGYN Ultrasound Centre is a modern, patient-focused diagnostic imaging center dedicated exclusively to women's health. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Sonographer with expertise in Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound to join our growing team in Calgary.

Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time opportunity, we offer a supportive work environment where quality patient care comes first.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday: 8am to 4pm. (Flexible for work life balance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
  • Review examination requests and relevant patient information, explain the procedure, and prepare patients for imaging.
  • Produce accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
  • Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout each examination.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Adhere to professional standards, infection prevention protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain work area, stock rooms for exam and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized formal diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Current registration with Sonography Canada and/or ACMDTT
  • Experience performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
