Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (NOC 32122) | Red Deer, Airdrie, or Calgary, AB

Pay: $47.50 to $67.00/hr, based on years of experience, plus skill set premiums. Signing bonus available. LMIA sponsorship available for qualified, Sonography Canada certified candidates.

As a Sonographer with Pureform and PureKids, you’ll independently perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations while collaborating with our team of 14+ Radiologists specializing in MSK, Breast, Interventional, and Pediatric Imaging.

We’re looking for a Sonographer who is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care and eager to continue learning and growing with our team.

The opportunity

  • Position: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Location: Red Deer, Airdrie, or Calgary, AB
  • Employment type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday. Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Start date: TBD
  • Reports to: Sonographer Supervisor

About the role
As a Pureform and PureKids Sonographer, you’ll independently perform diagnostic exams and communicate results to our Radiologists, delivering respectful, compassionate care to every patient. We’re looking for someone who holds themselves to high ethical standards and keeps growing in the field.

What you bring

  • Graduate of a recognized formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Sonography Canada certification, in good standing, with current professional liability insurance
  • At least 12 months of work experience (or 6 months post-graduation experience with Pureform)
  • Ability to perform a wide range of sonographic exams
  • A collaborative approach, and excitement to share your knowledge while learning Pureform protocols
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable with Windows-based programs
  • Breast, MSK, and Pediatric experience an asset
  • Proficiency in English, as all work is done in English
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability on weekdays as operations require, with Saturday shifts also available
