Job Summary

Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk

Sheet Metal Workers Local 276 is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a casual office environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization.

Responsibilities

· Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.

· Maintain and update membership records and databases.

· Answer phones and direct calls professionally.

· Greet members, contractors, and visitors.

· File and organize both electronic and paper records.

· Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.

· Process incoming and outgoing mail.

· Assist with event and general administrative duties.

· Support office staff with day-to-day operations.

· Maintain confidentiality of member and organizational information.

Qualifications

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Ability to learn new software and databases quickly.

· Professional communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

· Previous office administration or data entry experience is an asset.

· Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software is considered an asset but is not required.
