Position Title: Order Selector

This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $23.00 - $23.55 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether starting or higher, will fall within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.

  • Flexible hours: Up to 28 hours/week (up to 40 during peak seasons)

      • Fresh DC
        Afternoon: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
        Overnight: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
      • Grocery DC
        Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
        Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

What You’ll Be Doing?

  • Pick orders using a voice headset system—hands-on, independent work
  • Safely operate a motorized pallet jack to move products
  • Build pallets with products to be packaged and shipped
  • Help ensure orders are ready on time for store delivery
  • Complete daily safety checks and follow safe work practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards

Work Environment?

  • Work in a clean, temperature-controlled warehouse (around 0°C) handling fresh food products
  • Stay active and on the move—no desk job here!

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or general labour roles (Order Selector experience is a strong asset)
  • Comfortable using or willing to learn pallet jack equipment
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments
  • Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused
  • Must be 18 years of age +
  • Own CSA-approved safety shoes
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Strong understanding of basic instructions in English (reading, listening, following directions)
