The impact you'll make:
Tasks and responsibilities performed daily contribute to providing retail stores and eCommerce customers with product required and requested. All functions performed ultimately lead to the fulfillment of units to our Community Members, allowing them to meet their wellness needs, while also contributing to the overall success of Saje as a business.

All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

What you'll do:

  • Pick, pack, and ship orders for eCommerce, retail stores, co-manufacturers and other partners.
  • Receive, unload and put away stock from vendors, stores and customers.
  • Support the production line including putting together products and parts by hand.
  • Complete regular inventory counts carefully and accurately.
  • Perform quality control inspections for incoming products, finished goods, packaging, artwork, product components, and hard goods.
  • Do quality control checks like testing functionality, weight, appearance, and other features as needed based on specifications and expectations provided.
  • Help the Quality Assurance (QA) team by coordinating product returns or pullbacks by verifying quantities and items returned.
  • Complete expiry date checks and inspections, and report findings to the QA team.
  • Support with box making, pallet building and moving pallets around the DC.
  • Support the overall organization of the warehouse including labelling pallets, shelves and boxes.
  • Keep the warehouse tidy by sweeping, clearing out boxes, and handling general cleanup.
  • Contribute to problem solving and escalating any concerns to management.
  • Follow all training, and standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and expectations as trained by management.
  • Meet required individual and team KPI expectations on an ongoing basis.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Part-time availability - you must be available for work at least three (3) days per week for eight (8) consecutive hours.
  • At a minimum, 2-years of experience working safely within a Distribution Centre/Warehouse environment.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions, including standardized procedures.
  • Comfortable performing math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Responsible for communicating task completion and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Sharp attention to detail and high level of accuracy to conduct assigned tasks such as inspections, audits, spot checks, pick/pack; cycle counting, etc.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems, and other programs such as Excel.
  • Technological experience with RFID and mobile scanners.
  • Be able to stand and walk whilst working for extended periods of time in CSA steel-toed footwear.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, more specifically with the use of your hands for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to lift, carry and maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to a maximum of 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to work independently with some direction.

The base hourly rate for this position is from $19.02 per hour. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
