Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and professional first impression
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle appointment scheduling, patient questions, and follow-ups efficiently
  • Coordinate patient appointments and treatment schedules using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing or payment procedures accurately
  • Maintain organized patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
  • Support the medical team by preparing treatment rooms and managing administrative tasks related to patient care
  • Answer inquiries about services offered, procedures, and clinic policies with clear, detailed information
  • Assist with front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes and managing office supplies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or medical office receptionist with strong office experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to aesthetics or healthcare environments
  • Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments and patient information
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and providers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
