Job Summary

YouthBar Medical Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic focused on natural results and long-term skin health. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Medical Aesthetician/Aesthetician to join our growing team. The ideal client will provide exceptional guest services, perform a variety of skincare treatments and promote our product lines and services.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced skincare, personalized treatment planning, and working in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including but not limited to:

  • Microneedling Protocols
  • Chemical peels
  • Medical-grade facials
  • Dermaplaning
  • Laser treatments
  • Conduct thorough client consultations and develop customized treatment plans
  • Educate clients on homecare and skincare protocols
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client charting and photo documentation
  • Uphold strict sanitation and safety standards
  • Support retail product recommendations
  • Collaborate with nurse injectors on treatment planning
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Qualifications

  • Licensed Aesthetician (Nova Scotia certification required)
  • 1–2+ years experience in medical aesthetics preferred
  • Experience with medical-grade skincare lines (asset)
  • Laser experience (asset)
  • Strong consultation and communication skills
  • Comfortable with EMR systems (Jane, Zenoti, etc.)
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
