We are hiring for a Junior Product Consultant– Durable Medical Equipment

Role Description:

Congdon's is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Consultant- Durable Medical Equipment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role requires a proactive individual who is both a problem-solver and a team player, with a keen interest in the medical equipment field and pediatric healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support & Coordination:

Assist the Senior Pediatric Sales Representative in preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing sales documentation. Ensure all details are accurate, from product specifications to pricing, and help maintain a smooth workflow for the sales process.

  • Customer & Vendor Liaison:

Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and resolution of inquiries. Help maintain strong relationships with clients, especially within pediatric care settings, and be responsive to their needs.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain organized records for quotes, orders, client communications, and other sales-related documents. Help prepare reports for internal use or for presentation to clients, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.

  • Product Knowledge & Research:

Assist in research and staying updated on new products, industry regulations, and pediatric care trends. Demonstrate a keen interest in the medical equipment field and provide support in product recommendations when needed.

  • Problem-Solving & Creative Thinking:

Provide assistance in solving challenges related to product configurations, delivery schedules, or customer requests. Think creatively to find solutions and help address any issues or concerns that arise.

  • Time & Project Management:

Support the Senior Sales Representative in organizing their calendar, scheduling meetings, and managing follow-ups. Help prioritize tasks, ensuring that all client needs and internal deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Collaboration & Team Support:

Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical support, and operations, to ensure that all aspects of the sales process are handled smoothly. Act as a collaborative partner to the Senior Sales Representative and the broader team.

  • Adaptability & Flexibility:

Assist with shifting priorities and fast-changing schedules. Whether supporting new product launches or adjusting to last-minute customer requests, demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness.

Key Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail:

Accuracy is critical in this role, from ensuring quotes are correct to confirming the proper setup of equipment for pediatric patients. Strong attention to detail is a must.

  • Excellent Writing & Communication Skills:

Ability to articulate complex information clearly, both in written and verbal communication. Strong grammar and spelling are important, as you will frequently draft emails, reports, and client-facing documents.

  • Customer Service Focused:

A customer-first mindset, always seeking ways to enhance the client experience and provide value, whether by suggesting alternatives, responding to inquiries, or ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Highly Organized:

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep multiple tasks and projects moving forward efficiently. Whether it’s managing the calendar or coordinating paperwork, your organizational system should keep things running smoothly.

  • Adaptable & Quick Learner:

Able to quickly absorb new product knowledge and adapt to changing needs. The medical field evolves constantly, and you’ll need to stay on top of industry changes and customer requirements.

  • Creative & Solution-Oriented:

Comfortable thinking outside the box to overcome obstacles, whether it's finding creative solutions to meet client needs or addressing internal challenges.

  • Team-Oriented:

Enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Senior Sales Representative, customers, vendors, and internal departments.

You must have:

  • Experience or interest in healthcare or medical equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 3+ years driving experience with clean drivers abstract.
