Vision is a gift that we want to protect. Aura Eye Clinic is hiring a passionate and dedicated receptionist to join our team. As a busy optometry clinic in the Jewel of Griesbach, we strive to provide an exceptional patient experience from the moment they contact our office throughout the entire optometric care process.

Job Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY REQUIRED

Pay: $16.00- $22.50 per hour

Successful candidates will have:

- A desire to provide exceptional patient care
- First-class customer service and sales skills
- A knowledge of optical field including best practices
- Excellent communicative, written and computer skills
- The ability to use critical thinking to problem solve independently in a fast-paced environment
- The desire to grow through provided learning and training sessions

Job duties will include but, are not limited to:
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, using electronic medical records, ordering products, responding to emails, processing outgoing letters and processing payments
- Performing initial diagnostic testing
- Maintaining cleanliness of work desks, exam rooms, medical equipment and staff areas
- Assisting opticians with customer pick ups

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or medical office reception is advantageous
- Knowledge or willingness to learn of healthcare practices and optometric terminology and procedures
- The ability to commute to and from the clinic

Expected hours: 20-35 per week, evening and weekends
