The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a customer service-oriented Rental Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta on a 12 month contract. As the Rental Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of equipment within a designated territory, driving optimal rental fleet utilization, and carrying out rental processes and documentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Rental Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal and external rentals requests within a designated territory
  • Partner with internal Service employees to prioritize shop items
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure leads are captured and proper fleet utilization
  • Administer contracts and monitor billing of machinery on rentals
  • Manage quoting and territory market changes
  • Support Sales Representatives with current customers, manage key account relationships over the phone, and add new and potential customers within the territory

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, operations, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in a sales or customer service environment
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $60,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is an onsite role based in Edmonton, Alberta.
