About the Role
We are seeking to add an experienced Project Manager to our team of mangers, to lead large-scale yacht construction projects from conceptual design through commissioning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on marine environment and enjoys coordinating complex builds with engineering, production, and owners.

A Project Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of custom yacht builds—from concept and design through construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Define project scope, create estimates, manage budgets, and track progress against key milestones.
- Maintain clear project documentation, schedules, and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering team members to review and develop technical documentation (equipment lists, drawings, schematics, etc.).
- Assist with equipment specification and sourcing; review technical information with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with yacht owners, providing regular updates and coordinating custom requests.
- Lead communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and timely delivery of work
- As necessary, be present and engaged on the production floor; understand and guide the hands-on nature of yacht construction.
- Manage long-lead procurement and budget considerations and provide regular reporting.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve construction and budget challenges proactively.
- Support and mentor engineering and production teams to achieve project goals.
Your Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated & documented ability to communicate in writing and in person.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management or a directly related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in a project management role with minimum of 4 direct reports/team members in this role; or minimum 5+ years experience in the marine industry or large-scale construction (yacht building experience preferred).
- Proven, tangible, and demonstrated experience managing people and processes in a complex project environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain engineering plans, drawings, and schematics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ideally some level of awareness and functionality with some of the following: AutoCAD, Rhino, Wrike, Google Sheets, Quickbooks) and general computer use.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Innovative, solution-oriented, and skilled at overcoming unique project challenges.
Your Work Environment:
- Office environment, with frequent project and production engagement within the industrial shipyard.
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven projects with complex priorities.
- May require overtime or weekend work during peak project phases.
- Interaction with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
