Who you are:

You can manage your time effectively and with a high level of detail to ensure that your time and the physician you are assisting maintain their schedule and the time allotted to their patients. You have an expert knowledge level and can answer questions the patient may have about their current treatment and offer suggestions additional treatments.

Reports to: Manager, Patient Experience
Two up Leader: Clinic Director
Supported by: Treatment Designer, Patient Care Coordinator

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in Medical Aesthetics (Required)
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a Doctors Assist (Preferred)

Doing what you do best
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Time control
  • Accurate paperwork in charts (consents, notes, signatures)
  • Setup and maintain cleanliness of treatment room
  • Ensure treatment room is always fully stocked
  • Manage all supplies and note when ordering is needed/note expiry dates
  • Must have thorough knowledge of our photo system. Must have thorough knowledge of how to email photos to patients and from office to office. Must know all poses required for pre photos for every treatment
  • Have the day sheet ready with each patient’s history of products and services within the clinic
  • Able to give information on services & product knowledge
  • Knowledge of needles/ syringes
  • Set up of Sculptra injections

Daily Duties/ Setup

  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to Physician start time
  • Count Botox – make sure count is correct
  • Go through each patient on the day sheet. Make notes of all laser treatments (date year)
  • Make note of all products the patient is using past/present and date purchase
  • Make note if patient has any rewards to use
  • Ensure consents are signed
  • Check for other interests and ensure they have been addressed
  • Set up Physicians room
  • Make sure Botox is in Doctor’s room premixed
  • Ice stocked
  • Make sure all supplies are stocked (gauze, stanhexadine, BD needles, cannulas, Sculptra supplies)
  • Check sharps container and replace when needed
  • Sunscreen, moisturizers, HA5 etc. set out on counter.
  • Know where stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, woods lamp, loops, dr. req forms
  • Prescription pads
  • Pens
  • White pencils

End of shift

  • Count Botox – make sure count is correct – if discrepancy, inform Lead
  • Put away Physicians’ tray
  • Make sure mixed Botox is stored in fridge in Physicians’ room
  • Ice, sanitized, back in freezer for next day
  • All supplies stocked (gauze, gloves, blue towels, stanhexadine, etc.)
  • Product put away
  • Counter wiped
  • Chart notes to be completed with Physician

Schedule: Full-time, Occasional Saturdays

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
