Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate natural therapies and lifestyle modifications
  • Provide expert guidance on nutrition, herbal medicine, physical medicine, and other naturopathic modalities tailored to each patient's needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care and optimal health outcomes
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness
  • Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies
  • Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine by engaging in ongoing professional development and research
  • Support all aspects of women's health care - with emphasis on hormonal health management, by applying specialized knowledge within naturopathic practise

Requirements

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario
  • Proof of current prescribing license
  • Experience prescribing bioidentical hormones for menopause management
  • Proven experience in patient care, including working with women's health concerns is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient groups
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous learning in the field of naturopathy
