Company Overview

First Response Ontario is a leading provider of professional paramedic services to sporting and special events, film and television productions, as well as industrial sites across Ontario.

We are looking to add Physicians to our list of qualified practitioners for sub-contract work at high-level sporting events and mass gatherings. These Physicians will be presented with pick-up opportunities selecting those that align with their interests and availability. The Physician will play a vital leadership role in a larger multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality medical support in various environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with paramedics and other emergency personnel to coordinate patient care.
  • Draw on their extensive expertise to guide clinical best practices
  • Maintain appropriate medical documentation.
  • Participate in required site-specific training where required.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with medical advancements relevant to emergency response, as required by the CPSO

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid CPSO registration with independent practice privileges
  • Valid CMPA membership or equivalent insurance.
  • Proven experience in hospital or acute care settings.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
