Commercial Marketing & Distributor Relations Manager – Healthcare Products

MHCombiotic
Remote / Hybrid – East Coast Canada preferred
Preferred locations: Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or East Coast Canada
Full-time

About Us

MHCombiotic is a clinical-stage biotech company developing next-generation antimicrobial technologies for wound care and biofilm-associated infections. Our wound care platform has received regulatory approvals, and we are preparing for commercial launch and market expansion across Canada.

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on professional to help lead marketing execution, sales support, distributor engagement, and healthcare provider outreach as we bring our products into real-world clinical settings.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Marketing & Distributor Relations Manager to support the launch and growth of our wound care products.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales enablement, clinical outreach, distributor management, and commercial strategy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing marketing angles, guiding sales representatives on how to present the product, engaging clinics and healthcare professionals, and supporting conversations with distributors around pricing, positioning, and market access.

This is a full-time role for someone who can operate independently in a startup environment and take ownership of commercial activities from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and refine product messaging, marketing angles, and presentation materials
  • Help define how sales representatives should present the product to clinics, healthcare professionals, and commercial partners
  • Create or coordinate brochures, sales decks, digital materials, product summaries, and other launch materials
  • Support product positioning based on clinical value, customer feedback, and competitive landscape
  • Ensure messaging is clear, professional, and aligned with the company’s commercial goals

Sales Team Support & Field Execution

  • Manage and support sales representatives in their outreach and presentation efforts
  • Help train sales representatives on product positioning, key talking points, and follow-up strategy
  • Coordinate sales activities, clinic outreach, meetings, and presentations
  • Track field feedback, customer objections, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support follow-up with clinics, healthcare providers, and institutional contacts

Distributor & Commercial Partner Relations

  • Identify, communicate with, and support potential distributor partners
  • Assist with distributor discussions, pricing strategy, product positioning, and commercial terms
  • Help prepare materials for distributor presentations and negotiations
  • Support relationship management with distributors and commercial partners
  • Gather market feedback from distributors to inform pricing, packaging, and launch strategy

Clinic & Healthcare Provider Outreach

  • Contact wound care clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate introductory calls, product meetings, and presentations
  • Support early market adoption and relationship building with key clinical stakeholders
  • Gather feedback from clinicians and healthcare professionals regarding product use, positioning, and market needs

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Research competing wound care, healthcare, OTC, pharmaceutical, and consumable products
  • Monitor pricing, market positioning, distributor models, and customer needs
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and market entry
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, distributor management, or commercial operations
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, OTC products, medical devices, consumable products, or related industries
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial activities at once
  • Comfortable contacting clinics, healthcare professionals, distributors, and commercial partners
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Professional presence and ability to represent the company externally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, clinics, or healthcare buyers
  • Experience supporting sales representatives or field sales teams
  • Background in wound care, dermatology, infection control, medical products, or healthcare consumables
  • Experience developing marketing materials, sales decks, product messaging, or launch plans
  • Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare market

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is practical, proactive, and commercially driven. The right person should be able to think strategically, but also be willing to do the hands-on work needed in an early-stage company.

You should be comfortable building marketing materials, guiding sales conversations, contacting clinics, speaking with distributors, and helping shape how a new healthcare product is introduced to the market.

Why Join MHCombiotic

  • Help launch an innovative wound care platform into the Canadian healthcare market
  • Work directly with company leadership and commercial decision-makers
  • Play a key role in shaping marketing, sales, and distributor strategy
  • Opportunity to grow with the company as commercialization expands
  • High-impact role in a startup environment with real ownership
