We are a well-established and growing healthcare-focused organization specializing in the distribution of medical equipment, supplies, and clinical products to a diverse range of customers across Canada. With decades of experience in the industry, we have built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for hospitals, long-term care facilities, medical clinics, emergency response organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and other healthcare providers that rely on us for dependable access to critical products.
Our organization operates in a fast-paced and essential industry where reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail are paramount. We work closely with leading manufacturers and healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive selection of products that support patient care, emergency response, medical operations, and everyday healthcare needs. Through strong supplier partnerships, efficient operations, and a commitment to customer service, we continue to expand our capabilities while maintaining the high standards that have contributed to our long-standing success.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add talented professionals who are passionate about making an impact in a meaningful industry. Our team is built around collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, with employees encouraged to bring ideas forward and take ownership of their responsibilities. This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization where your contributions directly support the ability of healthcare professionals and organizations to deliver quality care to the communities they serve.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our growing operations team. This individual will play a critical role in managing the purchasing process, maintaining strong supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring products are sourced efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.

This role requires someone who understands the importance of strategic purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control. The successful candidate will be comfortable analyzing purchasing needs, negotiating with suppliers, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who wants to take ownership of a key business function and contribute to the continued growth of a respected organization.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier relationships, pricing, availability, and purchasing terms.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing agreements with suppliers.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, customer service, and operations teams to support inventory availability.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and overall service levels.
- Resolve purchasing discrepancies, shipment delays, invoice issues, and product-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and inventory data.
- Analyze purchasing data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Assist with inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization initiatives.
- Support internal teams by ensuring required products and materials are available when needed.
- Ensure procurement activities follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

- Comfortable working with purchasing systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal departments.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Professional approach with strong relationship-building skills.
