Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (Territory Coverage: Manitoba & Saskatchewan)

About the Opportunity

An established global healthcare diagnostics organization is seeking a Clinical Diagnostics & Applications Specialist to support hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare facilities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

This position combines clinical expertise, customer education, technical implementation, and diagnostic instrument support. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to laboratory professionals, ensuring successful implementation, training, validation, and ongoing utilization of advanced diagnostic technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, implementation, validation, and verification of diagnostic analyzers and systems
  • Conduct user training programs for laboratory and healthcare professionals
  • Provide clinical and technical support to hospitals and laboratories
  • Support go-live activities and post-installation optimization
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and educational workshops
  • Partner with internal sales, service, and support teams
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assist in identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and account records

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related Life Sciences discipline
  • 2+ years of laboratory, clinical diagnostics, or healthcare technology experience
  • Experience working in hospital laboratories, diagnostic laboratories, or point-of-care testing environments
  • Strong presentation, training, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan
