Independent Commercial Partner – Healthcare & Physiotherapy

Ontario - Central, Eastern & Western Territories

Independent business opportunity | Self-employed commercial representative

Grow your business with an established Canadian healthcare company

For more than 30 years, SET (Service d’Electro-Therapie) has helped improve quality of life through electrotherapy expertise, professional education, dedicated technical support and practical pain-management solutions.

As we continue to expand in Ontario, we are looking to build partnerships with independent sales professionals who already serve physiotherapy, rehabilitation, medical or allied-health clinics and are interested in adding a complementary, non-competing solution to their existing portfolio.

This is not an employee position. It is an independent business partnership designed for established representatives who operate their own business, manage their own schedule and commercial activities, and already have relationships within the Ontario healthcare market.

The opportunity

As an independent SET commercial partner, you will develop relationships with clinics and healthcare professionals within an agreed Ontario territory.

The partnership may include:

  • Introducing SET and its solutions to physiotherapy clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, medical practices and other healthcare professionals.
  • Developing new clinic relationships through your existing network and your own business-development activities.
  • Presenting SET's approved products, programs and business model to clinic owners and decision-makers.
  • Developing and maintaining productive, long-term clinic relationships.
  • Sharing relevant market insights and business opportunities with SET.
  • Collaborating with SET's internal team for clinic onboarding, technical expertise and customer support.

Available territories

  • Central Ontario: Greater Toronto Area and surrounding markets
  • Eastern Ontario: Ottawa, Kingston and surrounding
  • Western Ontario: Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Windsor and surrounding communities

Territory and account assignments are established as part of the final partnership agreement.

Who we're looking for

This opportunity may be a particularly good fit if you:

  • Operate an established independent sales or distribution business.
  • Already represent complementary products or services within healthcare.
  • Have an active network of physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, multidisciplinary clinics or other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Have experience in medical devices, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, orthopaedics, clinic supplies or another complementary healthcare market.
  • Enjoy developing long-term business relationships and new market opportunities.
  • Work autonomously and bring a professional, consultative and ethical approach to sales.
  • Are comfortable travelling within your territory and using modern sales and presentation tools.

Professional English is required. French is an asset, particularly in Eastern Ontario.

Why partner with SET?

  • More than 30 years of Canadian expertise in electrotherapy and pain-management solutions.
  • A complementary solution for representatives already serving healthcare and rehabilitation markets.
  • A recurring commercial compensation model that recognizes both new clinic development and the long-term value of an active portfolio.
  • Access to an experienced Technical Expertise team for clinical and technical support.
  • Professional sales tools, presentations, product information and marketing resources.
  • Established customer support for clinic onboarding, order processing and service.
  • The autonomy of running your own business while collaborating with an experienced Canadian healthcare organization.

Compensation

This is an independent, performance-based commercial partnership. Compensation is designed to recognize both the development of new clinic relationships and recurring commercial value generated through an active portfolio.

Detailed commission percentages, eligibility criteria and payment terms are confidential and will be discussed with selected candidates.

No income level is guaranteed. Independent partners remain responsible for their own taxes, insurance, travel, vehicle and general business expenses.

Interested in exploring a partnership?

We would love to learn more about your business, the healthcare markets you currently serve, the products or services you represent and the Ontario territory you cover.

Please submit your profile or résumé and, if possible, briefly indicate:

  • Your current Ontario territory.
  • The types of healthcare clinics and professionals you currently serve.
  • The complementary product lines or services you currently represent.

Selected candidates will be invited to a confidential business discussion with SET to explore whether there is a good mutual fit.
