L'opportunité
Nous recherchons un(e) technicien(ne) de terrain pour installer, entretenir et réparer des équipements vétérinaires, avec un accent principal sur les appareils d'anesthésie et les autoclaves/stérilisateurs, en plus des systèmes de radiographie. Il s'agit d'un poste pratique offrant une grande autonomie et une interaction directe avec la clientèle.
Vos responsabilités
- Entretenir, calibrer et certifier les appareils d'anesthésie vétérinaire (vaporisateurs, ventilateurs, systèmes d'évacuation des gaz, tests d'étanchéité)
- Installer, entretenir et réparer les autoclaves et stérilisateurs (maintenance préventive, dépannage, validation)
- Installer et entretenir les systèmes de radiographie vétérinaire (dentaires et plein corps) : montage, connexions électriques (240V/115V) et intégration informatique/logicielle
- Assurer le soutien d'autres équipements biomédicaux (pompes IV, moniteurs, centrifugeuses, etc.)
- Effectuer la maintenance préventive et le dépannage sur place dans les cliniques vétérinaires
- Fournir un soutien technique et de la formation aux clients
Horaire et environnement de travail
- Temps plein, 7,5 heures/jour, du lundi au vendredi; environ 30 % au bureau (Pointe-Claire), 70 % sur le terrain
- Territoire : Québec et Est de l'Ontario (principalement le corridor Ottawa–Québec)
- Horaires flexibles selon les visites de service; travail urgent occasionnel la fin de semaine (quelques fois par année)
Rémunération et avantages
- Taux horaire : 30 $ – 40 $, selon l'expérience

Profil recherché
- Diplôme technique en génie biomédical, électronique, électrotechnique ou domaine connexe
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
- Solides compétences avec Windows et le matériel/les logiciels informatiques
- Permis de conduire valide et véhicule fiable
- Autonomie, débrouillardise, sens du service à la clientèle et communication claire

The Opportunity
We are looking for a field technician to install, maintain, and repair veterinary equipment, with a primary focus on anesthesia machines and autoclaves/sterilizers, complemented by X-Ray systems. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and direct customer interaction.
What You'll Do
- Service, calibrate, and certify veterinary anesthesia machines (vaporizers, ventilators, scavenging systems, leak testing)
- Install, maintain, and repair autoclaves and sterilizers (preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, validation)
- Install and service veterinary X-Ray systems (dental and full-body): mounting, electrical (240V/115V) and computer/software integration
- Support other biomedical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, centrifuges, etc.)
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance and troubleshooting at veterinary clinics
- Provide technical support and customer training
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, 7.5 hours/day, Monday–Friday; about 30% office (Pointe-Claire), 70% field
- Territory: Quebec and Eastern Ontario (mostly the Ottawa–Quebec City corridor)
- Flexible hours depending on service visits; occasional urgent weekend work (a few times per year)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $30–$40, depending on experience
- Group benefits plan; 3–4 weeks vacation; summer schedule
What We're Looking For
- Technical diploma in biomedical engineering, electronics, industrial electronics, or related field
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Strong skills with Windows OS and computer hardware/software
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Resourceful, independent, customer-focused, and a clear communicator
Assets: experience with anesthesia equipment, autoclaves, X-Ray systems, or the veterinary/medical equipment industry; electrical/mechanical assembly skills.
