Our work is closely tied to patient care — ensuring that the right surgical instruments and implants are in the right place, at the right time, for life-changing procedures.

About the Role
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by managing the movement, accuracy, and readiness of surgical kits (loaner sets).

This is a hands-on, fast-paced logistics role within our Surgical Kits team, where attention to detail and strong coordination skills support operating room readiness, helping procedures run smoothly by ensuring surgical kits are accurate, complete, and ready when needed.

You will be responsible for tracking, preparing, and reconciling orthopaedic surgical instruments and implants as they move between hospitals, sales representatives, and our distribution centre.

Career Path

This role is part of our Operations team, with opportunities for growth and development within logistics, inventory management, and surgical kit operations. We are seeking candidates who are interested in building a long-term career in Operations.

How You Will Make and Impact: · Provide professional, responsive support to sales representatives, customers, and internal teams regarding surgical kits, inventory, and procedure requirements.· Coordinate the sourcing, allocation, and management of surgical implants and instrumentation across Ontario.· Manage urgent and time-sensitive surgical bookings, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of procedure requirements.· Maintain accurate records of surgical bookings, procedures, inventory, and related activities within internal systems.· Review surgical schedules to prioritize kit preparation, allocation, and turnaround for upcoming procedures.· Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure surgical kits are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on schedule.· Proactively communicate with sales representatives regarding inventory availability, surgical requirements, shipment status, and booking issues.· Contribute to surgical kit-related projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as assigned.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field an asset
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, or medical device an asset
  • Strong attention to detail — you take pride in accuracy and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable using technology and systems (Microsoft Office; ERP/logistics systems are an asset)
  • Physically able to lift and move equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)

Why This Role Matters

In this role, your work directly supports surgeons and healthcare teams. By ensuring surgical kits are accurate, complete, and delivered on time, you play a key part in helping procedures run smoothly and safely for patients across Ontario.
