Location: Lumea Vaughan

Lumea is a private surgical eye clinic performing refractive & premium cataract surgery. We offer patients state of the art technology in a warm, professional, and caring environment. We take great pride in providing quality compassionate experiences for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • This position requires a certified MDR technician to set up, clean & reprocess instruments on surgical days.
  • Maintaining equipment, setting up a routine and monitoring quality control of washers and autoclaves as well as the integrity of sterilization.
  • Keeping records and logs up to date are also essential along with stocking necessary supplies and organizing and cleaning the sterilization area.

Experience:

  • Minimum grade 12 education required
  • Current certificate from a recognized college level Medical Device Reprocessing course or CSA Medical Device Reprocessing Certification
  • One-year OR experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain integrity of work
  • Detail orientated
  • Team player but also works well independently
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Commitment to employment and optimal attendance record required

The ideal candidate works well on a team and is organized and committed to ensuring infection control remains top priority.

Salary:

To be negotiated at time of interview

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
