Full job description

**Job Title:** Part-Time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT)

**Location:** Mississauga, ON

**Clinic Description:**
We are a busy endoscopy clinic specializing in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and minor anorectal procedures newly accredited ICHSC. We perform between 26 and 30 procedures daily and are equipped with two Olympus AERs (Automated Endoscopic Reprocessors).

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated MDR Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing endoscopic equipment and scopes, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Clean and sterilize endoscopic scopes and related equipment.
- Operate and maintain AER
- Follow strict protocols for infection control and sterilization.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to support daily operations.

**Schedule:**
- Part-time position starting November 15, 2026; training will be provided beforehand.
- Initial shift: One day per week (preference for Thursday).
- Flexibility to cover two full time weeks for a technician on vacation (November 17 to December 7, 2026)

**Requirements:**
- Must have completed an approved Medical Device Reprocessing Course. - Experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
