THE POSITION
The Product Manager leads the vision, strategy, and market success of innovative industry-leading new products, driving its expansion across global markets and into applications ranging from infrastructure to community safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the product from strategy through execution, working closely with a high-performing cross-functional team to achieve growth targets and deliver market-leading results.
HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT
- Develop and execute a compelling product strategy for an innovative safety solution company.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of department leaders to shape the product roadmap.
- Own the collection and confirmation of features that engineering will design into new and existing products.
- Serve as the product expert in support of sales initiatives, driving customer engagement and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, competitor landscape, and growth opportunities.
- Plan and deliver successful product launches across diverse applications and target markets.
- Collaborate with marketing to craft clear messaging highlighting product differentiators and market segments.
- Partner with internal teams to incorporate customer feedback and drive product improvement.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Background in Product Design Processes, Manufacturing, Training and Project Management preferred.
- Demonstrated success in business development or project management, with a proven track record of exceeding performance targets.
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator skilled in relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation.
- Effective at time management and prioritizing in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in internet research, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in working with CRM platforms.
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
- Able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally as needed.
