Orthopaedic Medical Device Sales Associate

Fort McMurray, Alberta | Full-TimeJoint Reconstruction & Trauma

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team supporting the DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction and Trauma portfolios in Fort McMurray.

This is a hands-on role working directly with surgeons and hospital teams to provide clinical and technical support during orthopaedic procedures. You will also coordinate surgical equipment and inventory, develop product and procedural knowledge, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Previous medical device experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is personable, organized, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in medical device sales.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support during orthopaedic surgical procedures
  • Coordinate implants, instrumentation, and equipment for surgical cases
  • Manage surgical inventory and equipment
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses, managers, and hospital staff
  • Develop strong knowledge of Joint Reconstruction and Trauma products and procedures
  • Support customer needs and territory growth
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule for trauma and emergency cases, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • University degree or relevant healthcare or medical experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn clinical and technical information quickly
  • Previous healthcare, sales, or medical device experience is considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

Backgrounds in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Nursing, Business, or related fields are considered an asset.

Candidates must currently reside in Fort McMurray or be willing to relocate.

Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
