  • Collaborate with the testing facility to support instrumentation, AC power systems, and new electrical setups.
  • Review and evaluate electrical drawings and control panel designs to ensure compliance with technical and code requirements.
  • Assist in developing RFQ packages and communicate specifications to vendors; liaise with customers to confirm control requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with mechanical engineers on new product development and electrical integration.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of design and productivity tools as our team continues to grow.
  • Promote continuous improvement across product, process, and documentation areas.

Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Registered or eligible to register as an EIT or P.Eng in British Columbia.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, power circuits (including AC and 3-phase), and electric motors.
  • Strong foundation in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Comfortable reviewing technical drawings and evaluating for application suitability and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work hands-on across various departments.

Preferred Competencies (Assets):

  • Experience with industrial control systems such as PLCs, MCCs, or SCADA.
  • Familiarity with Industrial control systems and industrial electrical code requirements.
  • Exposure to programming languages like Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design tools.
  • Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems or instrumentation in test environments.
  • Experience working in production or manufacturing settings.

Why Join Us?

  • Join a tight-knit team that values curiosity, initiative, and collaboration.
  • Get real-world, hands-on experience across product development, testing, and customer applications.
  • Enjoy a workplace where innovation, mentorship, and continuous learning are part of everyday life.
