Synergy Engineering, based in Coquitlam, BC, is an internationally renowned progressive and highly adaptive E&I Engineering Design Supply organization, working primarily with Materials Handling (mining) and Industrial Projects. Position Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct engineering design as part of a project team. This position comes with challenges and plenty of opportunities for career development on the international stage.

Experience and Knowledge:

-3+ years of related work experience

-Good understanding of industrial electrical equipment and the systems in which they operate such as; MV/LV Transformer, switchgear, MCC, VFD, PLC

- Strong computer background including experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (a must)

- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards including but not limited to CSA and BCBC

- Understanding of technical specifications and drawings and the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely

- Experience with industrial projects with project values in the multi-million dollar range.

Soft Skills Required:

- Work productively in a team environment as a support

- Proven Communication skills with clients and vendors

- Good time management skills

Preferred Assets:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology degree

Domestic and international travel will be required to attend project meetings and provide site support.

Compensation will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.
